Unsettled

The title of the exhibition, I continue to shape, references an observation of participating artist “Unsettled” will be exhibited at the Palm Springs Art Museum until April 2019. More than 75 artists living or working in the Greater West will present their work exploring traditions, history, and Indigenous culture before the region was declared “unsettled.” Galanin’s work mediates the relationships tying the past, present, and future together with a strong emphasis on Indigenous art, heritage, and cultural legacy and contemporary influence.
